Thursday, January 7, 2010, Kuala Lumpur – Non- resident Ambassador of the Republic of Maldives to the Kingdom of Thailand, H.E. Mohamad Zaki presented his letter of Credence to the King of Thailand, His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej today. 

By Royal command, His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn represented His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej in granting an audience for H.E. Mohamad Zaki in the ceremony.

His Royal Highness Crown Prince conveyed sincere greetings for the kind sentiments extended to the King and Queen and the Thai people. He also wished for the personal happiness of His Excellency the President and for the prosperity of the people of the Republic of Maldives.

H.E. Mohamad Zaki is currently High Commissioner of Maldives in Malaysia and also Non-resident Ambassador designate to Indonesia and Brunei. H.E Mohamad Zaki is scheduled to return to Malaysia on 8 January 2010, after concluding official visit to Thailand.
